Wagga Community Health's Lack of Dentist Highlights Total Health Policy Failure

It has been brought to the attention of One Nation via its Riverina office that Wagga Wagga’s Community Health system does not have a dentist. Hundreds of people in the community are suffering due to a lack of a decent dental policy and those who rely on community programs, pensioners and the unemployed, have to wait months in extreme pain and discomfort. Not only that but in some cases further complications can arise due to the poisoning of their bodies and this puts more pressure on the already struggling health system.

The Labor and Liberal parties have both promised reform in this area, but there was no help in the recent budget and one plan that has been suggested, to link dental health to Medicare, has been rubbished, even though it does show merit.

It seems that there is plenty of money for increasing foreign aid budgets and accommodating increases in immigration, but none is available to fix a system which should be the basic right of every Australian. One Nation believes that rather than trying to win points on the global stage by buying favour with other countries, our politicians need to turn their attention back to Australia and concentrate on the problems we face here. It is sad to say, but when you look at the problems we face with health, dentistry, homelessness and crime Australia is looking more and more like those countries Rudd and his cronies claim we need to help so much with our taxpayers' money.
