Rudd's National Curriculum Includes Political Indoctrination and One Nation Says "No"One Nation rejects the national school curriculum proposed by the Rudd Labor Government on the grounds that sections of the draft amount to political indoctrination and the falsification of history. To teach schoolchildren about "Sorry Day", alongside Anzac Day, as mentioned in Section H3KU5, is a farce because we have nothing for which to be sorry. The "stolen generations" referred to in Section H10KU16 never existed. Similarly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags are not "symbols and emblems of the nation" as claimed in Section H3KU6 and there is no such thing as being "traditional owners of country" as mentioned in Section H3KU1. Biasing history studies towards Asia is wrong because Australia is not an Asian country even by geographical location - London is nearer Beijing than Sydney is. Schoolchildren should be taught all history - European, British, Ancient, Asian, African, Middle Eastern, American and especially Australian to gain a proper understanding of their place in the world. Speaking of Asian history, will they be taught the truth that there are two Chinas, one, Taiwan, free and democratic, like Australia, and one Communist China, a totalitarian, protectionist, expansionist one party dictatorship armed to the teeth with weapons of mass destruction? Seeing the Marxist-Fabian inspired ALP and their fellow-travellers in the Coalition can't give away our resources and sovereignty to Communist China quickly enough perhaps the answer is obvious. It was predictable the draft curriculum should have 118 references to Aboriginal culture but none to the Westminster Parliamentary System or Magna Carta as the ALP loves to make us out as the guilty occupiers of stolen land, who therefore have no inalienable rights to the land, and would rather the democratic traditions of the Westminster System and Magna Carta that they trample on every week were forgotten. Henry Parkes said at Federation "... we are British people - we are pre-eminently a Christian people - as our laws, our whole system of jurisprudence, our constitution . . . are based upon and interwoven with our Christian belief . .." which would be a good cornerstone of history studies for a National Education Curriculum if we need one. From there schoolchildren can be taught to make up their own minds as to whether multiculturalism, globalisation, free trade, native title and other issues are good or bad. One Nation has an extensively researched Education Policy based on scholarship and traditional values that will give our future citizens the thirst to acquire additional knowledge, make them eminently employable and teach them above all to be critical of what our devious politicians and second rate media tell them. |
