Government Should Adopt One Nation Tax Policy and Sack Ken Henry

After much ado and praise by the Labor government, the tax changes proposed by the Henry Review are nothing more than a major shift towards socialist government. Even the ALP is too scared to endorse the bulk of the Review as they are concerned at voter backlash before the next federal election. Most of the Review is strategically designed to hit those who diligently provide for their future and build up assets. One Nation is especially concerned by the following proposals, conspicuously left out and, dare we say, conspicuously not highlighted by the mainstream media:

* Means testing the family home

• Land-taxing the family home

• A bequests tax

• Reducing negative gearing

The average worker and small business will still be left to shoulder the heaviest tax burden and there is no mention of removing any of the hundreds of indirect taxes and charges that stifle growth and prosperity.

One Nation believes that the only solution for Australia is to adopt the One Nation Electronic Debit Tax Policy. The Electronic Debits tax is a very simple tax solution where at the moment of any bank withdrawal, treasury automatically collects a tax of 1 per cent of the amount of the transaction. There are many benefits including

- No more income tax returns - No tax on profits, capital gains, assets or savings. - No tax on goods and services. - Personal wealth would no longer be public knowledge. - Through automation, tax delinquents and delays would not be possible. - Not having to pay income tax would be a great incentive to investors. - Multinationals would be forced to pay their fair share of tax. - Eliminates excises and hidden taxes

One Nation is all for removing the tax burden on average Australians and small business by placing it onto the shoulders of foreign companies and those who profit the most from plundering the resources of our country. We want a fairer and more transparent system for all Australians instead of the complex and biased system that exists today.
