When Will the Government Start Telling the Truth About Cronulla?

Will the NSW Labor Government start telling the truth about Cronulla  or do we want civil war on the streets of Sydney?

The people of The Shire have been  seething since Carl Scully first described the mostly peaceful  gathering at Cronulla  beach as "drunken yobbos".

The day was a protest against years of violent racial attacks in the Shire and the rest of Sydney on Australians by people of middle eastern descent,  attacks the NSW Labor Government has  mostly ignored.

The  Report mentions 270,000 text messaages sent round before the day. What about  the  messages that were scrawled on the road near Punchbowl Park the evening of the next day when the middle eastern revenge groups were assembling (SMH 14/1/06) ?:

AUSSI TO DIE
INTIFADA
NEVER REST ASSIE DOG
YOUS CAME BY CHAINS U CONVICT DOGS
WE FEAR NO OZY PIGS

Then the next week this was one of the messages going the rounds:

"Today in the jungle the lions sleep. Wake up, wake up all Lions of Lebanon. Retaliate; take action for we are the kings of the jungle. Show them we have awakened. This Sunday we will all meet at Brighton and together exterminate the enemy at Cronulla. Send this to every Lion of Lebanon."

Not to mention

"We will take Sydney from Cronulla to the rocks / With our AKs & our Glocks" For the uninformed, AKs are AK 47 machine guns and Glocks are Glock pistols.

The revenge attacks, or should we say the "pogrom",  by people of middle-eastern descent the next evening armed with guns, knives, iron bars and baseball bats, which was allowed to proceed on its way by the police because they were incapable of stopping it, was only a further demonstration  of the NSW Labor Government's inability to deal with middle eastern gangs.

It was also proof that multiculturalism doesn't work and our immigration policy needs drastic  revision.

No doubt  the people of The Shire  will remember the Iemma Government's failings at next year's State Election.
