"THE PRICE OF LIBERTY IS ETERNAL VIGILANCE"
"The price of liberty is eternal vigilance", goes the motto of the RSL.
Unfortunately some organizations in Australia are not so vigilant, like
Bankstown Council and the Labor Party which runs it.
What else can we conclude when we learn they were about to hire their Town
Hall to the local Taliban, Hizb ut-Tahrir, an extremist islamic group
already banned in three countries.
The was not to be a peaceful forum to discuss working within the
Australian democratic framework to achieve an aim, but a teach-in on
how to destroy it.
The aims of organizations like Hizb ut-Tahrir were laid out by Abu Bakar
Bashir, inspiration for the Bali bombers, in an interview published in
Aljazeera on 21st August, 2006. He declared "There is no democracy in
Islam, so do not try to interpret the Quran and turn Islam into a
democracy to suit your needs. God's law comes first. It is not up to the
will of the people to decide what is right and how to live. Rather the
will of the people have to be bent to suit the will of God. It is not
democracy that we want, but Allah-cracy!"
If this sounds like idle talk, remember that Lebanon was once a Christian
country.
We know Labor is desperate for votes in Bankstown and therefore has to
kowtow to all tastes, but we didn't know they were that desperate. But
then we should remember it was Labor that allowed Hilaly to stay here.
Lenin said "When we hang the last of the capitalists they will be fighting
each other for the privilege of selling us the rope".
One Nation says when the Taliban take over Australia the Labor Party
will be fighting among themselves for the privilege of renting them a hall
in which to stage their victory rally.
