Why Vote ONE NATION?
One Nation became a political force in Australia due entirely to the dissatisfaction of ordinary Australians with the two party system. People realized their expectations on MAJOR ISSUES weren't being met, Liberal & Labor weren't listening to the majority view.

The Selling Off of Australia
Liberal and Labor have systematically sold off Australia 's public assets, putting the interests of ordinary folk below that of the powerful wealthy classes. Now we see in Private International hands Banking, Water Corporations, Electricity Providers, Rail, Airlines, Buses and Freight - with the Government about to flog off Telstra.

Do Governments Lie To Their People?
Both parties have corrupted unemployment figures, to the extent that one hour's work is considered full employment, to suit their figures. Australians now are working longer hours, and working unpaid overtime, besides the fact that the workforce being casualized. Both major parties have opted for a low wage, high taxing Australia . One Nation rejects vigorously the Liberal principle of a free-market for labour, (with the ALP looking on), which has led to fruit-pickers being paid four dollars an hour in Sunraysia , Victoria . (This is fact not fiction).

Interest Rates to Become Overwhelming?
One Nation believes Interest Rate rises are inevitable due to the Government's handling of the economy and factoring in inflationary items: petrol pricing (world parity), educational expenses, medical (from GP's through to hospitals), the cost of prescription drugs and the price of housing & land (the last due to high immigration). One Nation asks why interest rates in Australia aren't as low as they are in Japan and America .

Democracy in decline?
Liberal and Labor have over time eroded our citizenship rights by quietly ushering in many world conventions (inspired by the United Nations). The so-called Rights of the Child really means loss of parental control, and Government Departments paying teenagers to leave home, thus exposing them to moral danger. Shame on our politicians who have inflicted undue burdens on an unsuspecting public!

Free Trade Agreements Who Wins?
Free Trade brings many hidden disadvantages to Australia as a Primary Producer that politicians dare not disclose. The little protection we have now will be further eroded. Free Trade means less jobs for Aussies, the jobs ending up in the third world. Australian manufacturing and rural production decline means further loss of independence. While imports flood in One Nation says BUY AUSTRALIAN. 333's, Dick Smith foods Goulburn Valley etc are still in Australian hands.

Border Protection - Who's Policy ?
The successful Border Protection policy enacted by the Howard Government was originally One Nation's. It has stopped queue jumpers and the people-smugglers who trade in human misery. One Nation also calls for a reduction in ALL immigration because we lack vital infrastructure. Water is one glaring missing essential, not to mention other environmental problems. There will be a disastrous effect on the nation's ecology with the unsustainable numbers currently entering Australia.

Who's Country Is It Anyway ?
One Nation's policy on migrants is assimilation. Unlike the other parties who talk multiculturalism, we say our Australian culture should have primacy over all others. Could you imagine the Japanese Prime Minister or Chinese President telling their people that cultures of other climes had the same value as their own native culture? Politicians in this country are continuously fostering other cultures to the expense of our own unique culture. We won't allow it to disintegrate any further.

Are Australians Overburdened With Unfair Tax?
One Nation has always called for simplification of the Tax Act. The average Australian is paying a disproportionate amount of tax especially with the hidden & indirect taxes. Middle Australians find themselves easily falling victim to bracket creep because of the ridiculously low tax threshold set for middle income earners, Some examples of unfair tax are the multiple taxing of petrol, with excise, world parity and the GST, a windfall for Governments so they can crow about budget surpluses. State & Federal Govenments take 50 per cent of the price of every litre of fuel sold. Superannuation is taxed three times while self-funded retirees currently get next to nothing back from the government for saving them the cost of paying them a pension.

Do We Want a Vehicle Industry or Not?
One Nation will protect our farmers and manufacturers and the jobs they provide. We will protect them by re-introducing tariffs, not only to save our industries but to set a solid foundation for the restoration of the Australian economy.
